Around 310,000 people in Maine are facing power outages due to a windstorm on Monday. The National Weather Service has issued a high wind warning for most of coastal and inland Maine, with a wind advisory for northern Maine until 1 a.m. Tuesday. This storm will bring strong gusts, with winds reaching 65 to 70 mph along the coast from Bar Harbor to Eastport. Inland areas like Greater Bangor will experience gusts of 55 to 60 mph, extending up to northern Maine. Expect heavy rainfall across the state, with forecasts of 2 to 3 inches in Greater Bangor, 1.5 to 2 inches from Bar Harbor to Eastport, and 1 to 1.5 inches from Caribou to the St. John Valley.
