Heartwarming Moments: St. Joseph Hospital’s Special Remembrance Ceremony!

Guess what? St. Joseph Hospital in Bangor had a really touching ceremony on a late Wednesday afternoon!

Lots of people came to the hospital for this yearly event called the ‘Lighting of Remembrance.’ It’s super cool because the Saint Josephs Youth Choir sang awesome songs, and guess who showed up? Santa and Mrs. Claus! How cool is that?

Inside the hospital, there are trees all decorated with ornaments. People bought these ornaments as part of the Healing Hearts art program. And here’s the special part: each ornament is there to remember someone special who’s no longer with us.

You know, losing someone we love is tough, right? The hospital’s program helps people who are feeling sad or missing someone they care about. Eileen, who knows a lot about these things, said that talking with others who are going through similar feelings can really help and make you feel better.

And guess what? You can still be part of this special thing! You can buy your own ornament on the Saint Joseph’s website. How awesome is that?”
